WHAT IS DIRECT PRIMARY CARE?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership model for primary care. For a low monthly charge, patients have 24/7 access to their provider through office visits, text, email, and phone. Being able to access your provider after hours results in less emergency room and hospital visits… you know, that really expensive part of medicine.
In addition, all office visits are included in the membership: yearly physicals, DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals, and sports physicals. No more copays, coinsurance, or surprise bills after the fact.
Any in-office testing, such as strep, mono, EKGs, PT/INR is also included. All additional labs not included are priced at cost + 10% (average price ranges from $4 – $10). To see a more detailed list of what’s included in a DPC membership scroll to the next section.
